Advice From Family

I am not equipped to offer advice to anyone newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s, but as someone watching her mom manage PD, I can say that showing kindness and patience can be the best act of love. Simple things like signing your name, walking and even talking can be difficult for people with PD.

Phoenix Fall 2022 Moving Day

Parkinson’s Foundation Expands Moving Day Walk

The Parkinson’s Foundation announced the Fall 2024 event lineup for Moving Day, A Walk for Parkinson’s. Moving Day is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event and a movement for more awareness, funding and a better understanding of Parkinson's disease (PD). Moving Day is adding three new cities to its exciting roster of events, bringing the total to 21 cities in the United States this fall.
