Parkinson’s Foundation to Host “World Without Parkinson’s” Scientific Symposium on June 1 in NYC

The Parkinson’s Foundation invites health innovators to join World Without Parkinson’s on Thursday, June 1 in New York, NY. The cutting-edge scientific event marks the 200th anniversary of James Parkinson’s, “An Essay on the Shaking Palsy Paralysis of a muscle group..”

At the Parkinson’s Foundation, we predict that the next 20 years of scientific advances will outpace advances of the last 200. As part of its World Without Parkinson’s event, the Parkinson’s Foundation will ask top scientists and health innovators, “how will your area of expertise help to end Parkinson’s?” The interactive event will invite participation from attendees in the fields of research, healthcare and technology, who will work together to identify the trends that will help to end Parkinson’s disease for 10 million people worldwide.

The day-long event also includes an intimate interview with the world-renowned Parkinsonologist Stanley Fahn, M.D. and ample opportunities for networking.

As seating is limited, researchers and health innovators are encouraged to register early. The $200 registration fee covers the day-long program, lunch and a post-event reception.
