The National Parkinson Foundation is committed to working with healthcare professionals to improve the way care is delivered to families affected by Parkinson's disease. Through our newly revised signature program, Allied Team Training for Parkinson’s (ATTP),  medical professionals from diverse disciplines are learning about the best techniques in Parkinson's disease care through a dynamic team-based approach that allows them to network with professionals across the country. Our highly interactive training program features a combination of online courses and an intensive 3 day curriculum including:

  • CME/CEU credit for physicians, physician assistants and allied health professionals
  • Online educational presentations
  • An interdisciplinary care conference with multimedia and hands-on training 
  • Care strategies for all stages of Parkinson’s
  • Interdisciplinary training to foster stronger care teams
  • Post training support

Statement of Need

Registration Fee for NPF/MDS ATTP San Diego:

  • $ 400 USD Health Practitioners attending with a team (3 members or more)
  • $ 450 USD MDS Members Individual Health Practitioners
  • $500 USD Non-MDS Members Individual Health Practitioners
  • No fee for full time students in the training professions

Special offer for ATTP San Diego ONLY:

Attendees at the San Diego ATTP course will qualify to apply for a complimentary 1-year MDS membership that includes:

  • Reduced member rate for the International Congress
  • Reduced member rate for Regional and Education course offerings
  • Access to the “members only” website resources and online journals

Following the course all those who qualify for this offer will be emailed a link to apply for associate membership. Once approved they will have access to these benefits.

Payment is not required for the application process. The registration fee is due 30 days prior to the conference date. It is recommended that payment be made after an acceptance letter is received to avoid a late payment which may cause your application to be dropped and  your seat given to a wait-listed applicant.
