Professional Training

The National Parkinson Foundation offers in-person and web-based training for healthcare professionals.

The Allied Team Training for Parkinson program trains healthcare professionals in best practices for Parkinson's disease. This 3.5-day intensive training includes both classroom and clinical training to promote a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

Web-based training includes not only the Parkinson's Toolkit, a new website with information and guidance for clinicians, but also webinars about specific topics such as sexuality and Parkinson's or the best way to deliver a diagnosis.
