The Parkinson's Toolkit, developed by NPF, is a mobile-friendly website with a free downloadable smart phone application that will help clinicians improve diagnosis and treatment of PD. The Toolkit is part of NPF's mission to improve the quality of care for every person diagnosed with Parkinson's. This tool helps clinicians to provide evidence-based care and will guide them in their interactions with their patients.

During National Health Center Week, NPF celebrates our vast network of Centers of Excellence and Care Centers in the US and worldwide that deliver care to more than 50,000 Parkinson's patients. Our centers feature Parkinson's specialists at top medical institutions who are leading the way to advance Parkinson's care. Every year, thousands of people participate in NPF's TEAM HOPE community fundraising events to increase awareness of Parkinson's disease. Successful TEAM HOPE events take place around the country — from skydiving to marathons and dances. Small local events can also be a great way to bring communities together. NPF has joined 23andMe, a personal genetics company, in recruiting 10,000 people with Parkinson's for an innovative web-based research project. 23andMe is halfway to their goal — your participation could help speed the progress of improved treatments for PD. Participation is free and is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's by a physician.
