Call the Parkinson's Foundation Helpline 1-800-4PD-INFO (1-800-473-4636) for answers to your Parkinson’s disease (PD) questions. Staffed by nurses, social workers and health educators, the Parkinson's Foundation Helpline is here to support you in any possible way, including:

Current disease information
Medical issues including symptoms and treatments
Health and social care
Referrals to health professionals and community resources for local support

The Parkinson's Foundation Helpline is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. We can assist you in either English or Spanish. You can also email us with a question at any time: Helpline@Parkinson.org or interact with us and the Parkinson's community at large on PD Conversations.

The Parkinson’s Foundation Helpline welcomes calls from people with Parkinson’s disease, their families, friends and health care providers at 1-800-4PD-INFO (1-800-473-4636).

Helpline specialists answer calls about all aspects of Parkinson’s disease and can help recommend specific Parkinson’s Foundation resources that can help you. These are the most frequently asked questions our Helpline receives:

Most of the time, our information specialists are waiting for your calls and will pick up right away. Occasionally, all the lines will be busy and there may be a brief wait to speak with someone. If placed on hold, you will be prompted with information about how to leave a message so that we can call you back. Leave a message with your name, phone number, the best time to reach you and your time zone. You can also email us at Helpline@Parkinson.org. We will return your message as soon as possible.
- Press 1 or stay on the line to speak to a Helpline specialist in English.
- Press 2 to speak with Donor Services.
- Press 3 to speak with a Helpline specialist in Spanish.

While we are happy to discuss any issue with you, calling our Helpline is not a substitute for seeing to a doctor. When making a medical decision, always consult a physician. We stand ready to discuss PD-related issues and places to get care or support, but we cannot diagnose or treat PD over the phone. When we offer names of people in your area, that does not specifically constitute an endorsement of them or the services they offer. The Parkinson’s Foundation does certify certain centers, has affiliated chapters and offers training to providers. If asked, a Helpline specialist can help you find one of these.
