Description: Please join NPF South Florida and 23andMe to learn about their "patient driven revolution in Parkinson's research."
23andMe scientists evaluate DNA information in combination with survey responses to learn more about how genes and environment relate to Parkinson's disease risk, progression and treatment response. The service is free for persons diagnosed with Parkinson's and participants can view their own genetic information (not required), including information on health, drug response and ancestry, and will receive updates on project-related discoveries.
