NPF Hosted Special Event--Genetics and Parkinson's: What Families Need to Know

On Thursday, May 20, 2010, the National Parkinson Foundation hosted a special event in Miami, Florida for family members who love and care for people with Parkinson's disease. Attendees had the opportunity to hear Dr. Carlos Singer, Director of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders NPF Center of Excellence at the University of Miami, speak about the topic of "Genetics and Parkinson's: What Families Need to Know." Nearly 50 people attended this informative, educational event at the Law Office of Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, PA. John W. Kozyak and his wife, Barbara Ann Silverman, generously underwrote the evening.
